The new BMW Z4, facelift for 2010, is the first convertible whit a roof such as hardtop, replacing the Z4 Roadster and the Z4 Coupe model. Formed by two pieces made from aluminum, the hydraulic automatic roof top opens and closes in 20 second. The capacity of the trunk varies between 180 liters and 310 liters depending on the position of the roof top.

BMW Z4 facelift is pointing out with a long hood of the engine, evasive fenders and a generous wheel base. The front part has suffered some esthetic changes, the lights and the bumper has now a new design, similarly with the one on the 3 Series.

The new BMW Z4 facelift can be ordered with engines in 6 cylinders that gives us a power of 204 HP and 306 HP: BMW Z4 sDrive23i, BMW Z4 sDrive30i and BMW Z4 sDrive35i (sDrive represents a new generation to the BMW models with traction on the front tires, compared to xDrive that offers 4×4 traction). All of this monitoring offers an optimal combination between dynamics and the amount of gas.

BMW Z4 sDrive 30i has an engine of 3.0 liters that develop 258 HP at 6600 rpm and a maximum couple of 310 Nm at 2750 rpm. The acceleration from 0 km to 100 km is made in 5.8 seconds (in the sport variant 6.1 second) and the maximum speed is electronically stoped at 250 km/h. The gas consumption is at a lower value of 8.5 liters/100 km.

BMW Z4 will make his debut in world premier in the Auto Saloon of Detroit in January 2009 and will be available on the market from 9 may 2010. The Sports car with 2 seats will be offered on the market with the price of 35,900, this price is exclusively on the Germany territory.
