The most popular and best sells ever on the market, the American pick-up Ford F-150, is now showing us a version that will trill the amateurs in car racing.  Of course we speak about F-150 SVT Raptor, the car created by Ford and their division of special vehicles SVT.

The car will be launch in the year of 2010 and it will be ready to take on the speedway and the rough terrain as well.

F-150 SVT Raptor wants to be a car than anyone can use everyday whiteout compromises, but still to raise up to level like a rally-raid trough the desert and by the looks of it, Raptor will do just fine.

Ford F-150 SVT is wider then the previous model F-150 and the entire aspect of the car is more rough, roughness given to us by the new bumper, roofs scoops and special tires.

The suspension has suffered some major changes, they are far more though and the strokes are longer, to make a difference on the rough terrain. The front suspensions have a stroke of 28cm and the rear ones a stroke of 34cm.

Ford  F-150 SVT Raptor got a various electronic systems that was highly optimized for the off-road driving, the engineers thinks even the control of a trailer so they created 2 systems. The 2 systems are in permanently observing the trailer one for the slanting and one for the breaks. The center differential can be electronically blocked and it works tandem with the ESP system.

The interior of  ford f-150 has soft leather and the dashboard is dominated by a hot red assorting them selves’ whit the insertions on the leather seats. A small interesting detail is that the steering wheel has a little red dot on it. This little red dot is use by the driver to synchronize the steering wheel and the tires on high speed or in hard terrain.

Over 50 prototype engines have suffered very hard tests in Ford’s laboratories to ensure the performance in the worse meteorological conditions.
