To celebrate the world championship title in MotoGP in the year 2007 by the australian Casey Stoner, Ducati made a contract whit another italian constructor, Alfa Romeo, for the creation of Alfa 147 Ducati Corse. Both firms have a tradition in the world of racing so the future owners of this car can only expect to a marvelous sport car.

The name of MiTo cams from the first two letters of city Milano, the city where the brand Alfa Romeo was found in 1910 and in the present is the design center and Torino, the place where the product takes birth..

After the success whit Fiat 500 in what concerns the design the italians blow up the market with the new MiTo. Alfa Romeo Mito will increase the sales of the brand; the price for this car will be around 5000 euros.

Inthe summer of 2007, the italian press announce the production of Alfa Romeo 8C Spider starting whit the ending of the year 2008.
