Incrase Car Performance

Posted under Technical

Even from the acquisition of the car the owners must choose an adaptable engine for his type of driving. In the idea of the sport performance, qualified tuners use some artificial techniques.

At the engine:
-lateral action of the cams axes, has advantages like: the width of the engine decreases, the distance between the pistons is the same permitting a uniform cool down, the admission channels can be the same.
-the bolt-piston group are choused equaled in weight and there are cold-worked in this way.
-the cams axes is replaced with a sport one.(actions more earlier to open the admission valves)
- the rod connectors are more lighted and polished, whiteout affecting the material used for their construction.
-the ignition chamber is redesign; with the purpose of eliminate the thermal casualty.
-we use a special catalysis system especially for a sport competition.
-we shrink the friction forces inside the engine by redesigning the engines pins of the pistons

Cooling system:
-we can use one or two additionally electro-vents and the command for them are made from the dash board.
-the fan propeller (at the older engines that is mechanically auctioned) needs to be cut down from weight and a new equilibrium test is also required.
-we can study the possibility of a correct evacuation of the air that cams from the cool down of the engine, with an installation of an air scoop in the back of the hood.
-the cooling liquid needs to run trough the engine along the transversals channels up against the motor shaft to assure a uniform cooling of all the cylinders.
-the cooling system does not work immediately when we turn on the engine; it only works when the engine is at the optimal temperature to ensure a high durability.

Transmission system:
-the double clinch systems are used in high scale by the tuning teams. But in practice the more used clinch systems are the one from the diesel engine because they have a higher durability.
-it practically generalizes the 6 gears transmission box.
-to obtain powerful acceleration we use short conic groups and for a top speed we can use long conic groups.
